		<description>I agree with the comments that there is a push and pull to openness.  The next step in terms of system design is to create systems where there is a mechanism to balance these two forces.  That is: offer a means to distribute economic gain to those who provide acceptable value, where the value is determined by the user/implementer, not a back room negotiation.
